The ABB OTM400E4C11D380C is a 4‑pole motorized automatic transfer switch (ATS) / change‑over switch designed to automatically transfer electrical loads between two independent AC power sources, such as utility mains and a standby generator, in low‑voltage three‑phase distribution systems. This type of switch provides motorized automatic operation for seamless source changes and also has provision for manual operation in emergency or maintenance situations. A built‑in mechanical interlock prevents the two power sources from being connected simultaneously, ensuring safety and continuity of power in industrial and commercial environments.
