The SPTH150M is a surge protector. It is designed to handle transient overvoltage events in electrical circuits. It has a nominal discharge current (In) of 15kA (8/20μs), which means it can regularly handle surges of this magnitude. The maximum discharge current (Imax) is around 30kA, allowing it to deal with more severe surges. The voltage protection level (Up) is approximately ≤1.6kV, ensuring that connected equipment is protected from harmful voltage levels. It has a response time of less than 20ns, enabling it to quickly react to surges. It is designed for DIN - rail mounting, facilitating installation in control panels. It can operate in an environment with temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C and has an IP20 protection rating to prevent dust ingress. It complies with relevant international standards for surge protection devices, such as IEC 61643 - 11.
